About us

Since 2009, Cradle Crops has been active in growing Miscanthus Giganteus after the initiative was taken by Filip Baecke to grow Miscanthus. Seeing the impressive growth of the crop alongside its potential for diverse applications, it was decided to expand the business further. Consequently, Floris van Tilburg has also been working at Cradle Crops since 2011.

Convinced that Miscanthus is the crop of the future, we took the initiative to share our knowledge and experience and to start planting at other interested parties. This in addition to trading activities in harvested Miscanthus. Furthermore, we are constantly looking for applications of Miscanthus and for other crops that offer opportunities within the Biobased Economy.
